Been doing crappy on posting. Busy at work and then at the other job and trying to make things work at home. Something is giving, and usually it is my restrain on my soda intake. Tonight is the last night at the fabric store. Bittersweet really, I like the women I work with but it is time for me to apply that energy elsewhere.
What is does mean is that I need to start with morning exercise again as I will not have 4-5 hour shifts on my feet anymore. Xena wins as it means more walks for her.
I think I am finally getting to the end of this cough which has plagued me since the beginning of sept. I sort of heal but then not quite. I hope the not working at the fabric store will help the healing. We are nearly done packing and moving to the new place. The cookies that were sent to help move were yummy and such a nice treat.

here we are in sept. The big events of the summer are done and while they were a whirlwind and had stress of their own, I miss them.
getting back into a routine is hard but needs to happen to get some balance back in my life.
It never occurred to me how physical working at the fabric store would be. Beyond the cutting there is lifting and walking and on our feet the whole time.
It also makes it very difficult to make dinner when I have to be at work at either 4 or 5 every night.
But here we go!
Up this morning at 6-ish got a bit of sewing done and had mt dew
breakfast was a glass of milk and doritos
no am snack
lunch was water, hot and sour soup with two cheese wontons
pm snack is a mt dew

So I have fallen off the wagon of being accountable for my meals and activity. Mostly due to getting out of my routine and trying to sort it all out again. I work between 15-20 hours at the fabric store. Which should count as some exercise as I am on my feet for the whole 4-5 hour shifts. Carting bolts of fabric. I am getting strange new muscles in my thumbs.
this week I am home alone and I thought it would be a good week to do a quick jump start and use up the rest of my shake mix and make some meals that I am fond of that he is not.
Was up at 6 this morning got some progress on my loom. I am warping up a blanket in the handspun that I have been doing for three years.

Well interestingly enough the working for five hours four nights a week on my feet has been filling my time and keeping me moving. My feet are a bit mad at me today for being on them for 5 days in a row. But in the up side, being on me feet working for four hours a night is five hours I am not on my bottom.

Time is doing its strange dilation and what seemed like lots of time is not so much. But soon I get a bit more of my time back. Well not true as I just got a pt job at a fabric store. Just to make the last wage cut not so painful for us.
We have picked up a friend in our house who had been evicted and that has been a lot of changes we have to sort through. Mostly hard to see him sitting on the couch at all hours just watching movies. He did try and get out for job this week which is good.

was starving by the time I got home. Made twice baked potatoes, steamed broccoli with a smidge of black truffle salt which made them amazing! and rice pilaf. I ate a single serving of all dinner aside from broccoli. I ate a lot of broccoli.
I think my body decided the amount of broccoli I ate was too virtuous so had a cherry coke ice cream float. Sigh... but it was good.

I fought last night for the first time in nearly a month. I am surprised and dismayed at the amount of endurance i have lost.
After a long talk with a friend we can to a conclusion and idea.It seems that 100 days of action X is too ambitious for me, so instead we are doing 10 days of 25 crunches. That is all. And if after 10 days we can do 10 more, well we will see when we get to day ten.
Starting somewhere.

Ack and double plus ack.
My lack of motivation has begun to bear fruit. Well maybe not fruit but definitely has effected my clothes. Towit, I am not comfortable in them. this is not a good thing. I do not like to be uncomfortable in my clothes. Noe do I really want to go back into sizes I have gotten rid of. So what on earth does it mean- that I really need to refocus and do what I want to do.
It is easy to have a bad nights sleep and say just one more soda will help keep me going. and one turns into three. I have fought this beastie before. So what can I do but fight it again.

Good weekend!
Kept soda intake down to one each day with a glass of unsweetened tea as other beverage other than water.
Ate well got out for a walk on saturday. My poor dog let me know her displeasure for not taking walks recently as she pooped out before we did the whole three mile loop.
Did not walk her on sunday but did have a fit of cleaning and throwing out in honor of spring. Deep cleaned the bathrooms even.

Lost my focus and goals for this last few months and I can feel how it is affecting me. So what should i do about things? Just do them. Weather is getting far less of snow and cold so looking to start riding my bike again to work soon. Would also like to get those walks in with my dog. this blog was helpful for me and I think as I am home more now for a while it will be again. Just have to start making it a habit again.

Away at WAR! I really do love going to war. This one was not as fun as others have been but still it was good to get out in the wind, the rain and the sun.
Ate very well each day and excellent portion control as we only had enough for us each to have a serving. Which is a good thing. Not much alcohol as we ran out early and were okay with that.
Went to bed at a good time well before midnight each night and fought as much as possible every day.

Packing and sewing as I get ready for a series of wars. I can't wait to be out and in a tent for two weeks. I will be back for one week in between the two.
They will be filled with walking, fighting, generally hanging out in the fresh air and sunshine.
today was up early and hand sewing my hems. I tried to let myself sew them on the machine, but I really couldn't. We decided to attend one of the evenings in DC comic heroes outfits translated as our persona's period. So as Batgirl, I have a most excellent black velvet cote-hardie. But we also wanted to be able to wear them not as costumes, so I really couldn't let myself cut corners. It is going to rock!
But I will be getting plenty of exercise and eating extraordinarily well. No couch time with snack foods.

lunch was a cheese sandwich from Schlotzskies and a bag of bbq chips
had mt dew
dinner was 2 helpings of zucchini ankara on cous cous with water
but then it seemed I was really hungry so had a 1/4 cup of cottage cheese with 1/2 chili cheese fritoes. I have this little plastic measuring cup that I can pour my chips into and then I tend not to go back to the bag. Most of the time.
Did abs and squats but missed my 24 minutes
Did my spear shots.

did my bike ride and added 50 spear shots with each arm to the day. since i am getting ready for war I thought it would be good to get that in. However I have to figure out some way not to tear out the sleeves in my dresses from my shoulders of awesomeness. lol not really all that worries about that.

Good weekend, Saturday was up at 8, lots of water breakfast was a leggo waffle with ample syrup.
And water. We armored up and fought from about 11:00 until 3:00. With break for lunch of a roll, two blocks of cheese and an apple more water. Some of that was intense so I am sure I got my full 24 minutes lol.
Dinner was chinese buffet but since we were in Nebraska, my choices were smaller than the guys. But I still ate well. Then we went to the after party..... I had soda and red stag and quite possibly got tipsy. Hard night of sleep.
Sunday back in car and on our way. Had an apple for breakfast and a mt dew. More water. Lunch was spaghetti pie from old chicago. more water and a couple fig newtons. Dinner was tofu and brown rice with peanut sauce wrap. Did not get my minutes or abs work in. Do I start over or just forge ahead? I think I am just forging ahead. Discovered it was really hard to do that in a small hotel room with 4 other people.

Was good and did my days 30 minutes bike rides on 10 and 11
did a long walk with dog on 12. Still a few icy places out there and I found them. Feel like I am 12 with my scuffed unsexy knees. lol
But ate well and kept it down to one soda each day.

I work very well with goals and deadlines to push me.
I was just randomly thinking about the 100 day program. You know do x for 100 days
100 days is a little under 15 weeks. Which if I start something today that will take me to almost exactly my birthday.
So why the heck not?
But what shall i pick? How about a 100 days of 24 minutes of something? (24 because april 24th is my finish date and my exercise bike has a 24 minute setting) But it has to be something aerobic so 24 minutes of bike ride (can do more but that seems like a reasonable start), walking the dog, or exercise video. Along with that doing the 50 squats and 50 abs. I think I can do that.I think I want to do that. So why not? All I have to do is the work and I can, I have all the equipment I need, my body is working properly, no injuries to halt me from any of that.
And today is the start date:
24 minutes of bike riding, 50 abs and 50 squats
breakfast was 1/2 a baked potato with cheese and water
had soda
lunch was a bagel with butter and water
I am home tonight so i am going to make up brown rice and tofu for breakfast wraps
dinner tonight, going to have a spinach salad with water.

water and breakfast was not as I rushed out the door.
messed my day
had a cheese sandwich from schlotskies for lunch and water
ended up have two sodas today and a cup of tea
dinner was a six piece cheddar popper from deltaco as I rushed to fighter practice
good practice but that lead to midnight munchies- well 10 oclock
had a cheese sandwich with lettuce and tomato

Had eggs with spinach, sundried tomatoes and parm cheese from breakfast with water

took down the christmas tree and clean the house. Three weeks of laundry put away and on with the new year

Had a good weekend much walking around on saturday mixed with only one soda and mostly avoiding the landmines of sweets of the day.
sunday was war practice so much fight and usually I am not that hungry by the end of it but I did have a small margharita pizza for dinner/lunch and only one soda. rest was water

new year and all that stuff!
new starts and false starts and hard work. all about the work.
we have to do it no one else can. we have to be responsible for our choices and their outcomes.
what can we do? we can choice things that make us healthy, laugh, and love.
once those things are habit, nope kidding myself, still work but maintenance is easier than getting there.
Sometimes we fall down and getting over that and back on the path we want is not a matter of shame. It is human. we are all so very divinely human.
One thing I noticed was there was a difference in my life when I was not being accountable to myself on this blog.
