Aug 31st

Did not get up early this morning.
did not have breakfast
did have cup of mint tea
Lunch was a mt dew, pb&j, two fig newtons, a handful of very very tasty rice cakes from Quaker and water.
will probably have another mt dew this afternoon
dinner tonight is a zucchini and chickpea dish over couscous with feta cheese. AND more water.

aug 29-30

spent all weekend working in the bathroom. Each layer we went down we found more devastation. So we had to rebuild from the flooring up. That has been interesting. I know I ate okay over the weekend. I probably burned up everything I ate by going up and down the stairs so many times. I think I had three mt dews on saturday.

Aug 28h

Was a blur of what the hell did I eat? I am not sure that staying up so late is something I really like doing anymore.
I had toast for breakfast
2 mt dews, some water
I bought myself deep fried fat for lunch- cheese sticks
made penne ala vodka for dinner
made chai scream for dessert but didn't actually have any

aug 27

up early had water
breakfast was oatmeal. when i made it, i went lighter on the brown sugar and went back to the cupboard to get more. i stopped myself and had it just as it was.
having a dew now.
lunch will be a cheese sandwich and water
dinner is scrounge tonight we are going to see a concert so i will try and save my afternoon soda until way late as to really get the full effects. Since concert doesn't start until 8:00 and I am usually in bed by 9:00 it will be good to have an extra kick to keep me awake later.

lunch is a lovely salad and water
will have another dew this afternoon
dinner tonight is either corn chowder or pasta- my basil is getting unwieldy. :)

breakfast was not very good. I had leftover stuffing and corn. Then a glass of water
lunch was three pieces of veggie pizza and water
had my two dews
dinner is potato pizza and corn on the cob. leftover corn will be made into soup tomorrow.

aug 24

up at 5 weaving had a cup of peach tea
breakfast was ramen and milk- so the stress got to me a little bit
had two mt dews at work
lunch was a chunk of cheddar cheese and a couple crackers
having water right now with a couple peppermints
I am making a turkey dinner tonight for some friends from Croatia and my hunny. He likes turkey when ever he can get it. Stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans and salad. Lots of water I think as well.

aug 22&23

busy weekend but I did good with no over consumption of soda or caffeinated beverages.
saturday I took the girls school shopping and then we went to see cirque du soleil in the afternoon. we went out to dinner that night at the spaghetti factory. Cool interior- lots of stained glass and booths made from beds- older beds.
Sunday was spent in Lowe's figuring out what all we need to fix our bathroom. The wall behind the nozzle seems to have rotted out. I found this out when I went to shave my leg, put my foot on the bath lip and my toes bumped a tile. The tile popped into the wall. Sigh, now we have a new bathtub, wall and enclosure to put in, along with a new sink and tile. It will look great when done but not the project I planned on for the rest of the weekend. Still even under that extra stress, ate decent meals and did not over eat.

up early and weaving with a cup of peach tea by my side- no caffeine
breakfast was a handful of chexmix and a multi vitamin washed down with a mt dew. Very healthy
I was scrambling trying to get Avalon into school. Just need a copy of her transcripts and we can get on our way.
Lunch is a pb&j and water and 6 or so strawberries
will have another mtdew this afternoon
Dinner is a tofu dish a friend is preparing. Sounds interesting.

Aug 20

WOoHOo the blog is working again.
I have been mostly good. This week has seen a bit more than usual as we have been going to a couple restaurants with family and friends. Avalon leaves on saturday. I plan to use my sadness as further motivation for riding my bike harder. I am going for three days a week every week until the snow flies.
I have been keeping pretty good to my 2 sodas a day. I have been having a cup of tea in the early am. I love when the weather turns and there is that crispness on the breeze.
I have a busy yard work weekend planned for sunday. Getting the weeds out of the patio and trimming the hedges. I also have a couple glass pieces planned. Of course now that we are in the fall of the year everything goes really fast. In fact I believe that every weekend between this one and Nov has something planned. I wonder if I did that on purpose or just the way it all falls this year? Anyway, will be devoted to daily writing and getting more exercise.
I popped my knee out last week and have been letting it rest. Then someone recommended to me Glucosamine suppliments. I have been usingthem since monday and oh lalalala my knee feels so much better, and my back and my hip and well, I am happy it it helping. I have been reading about it on line and there is some question of it interferring with blood sugar levels. I will dosome more research.

aug 3

up at five started some new rugs and drank water.
I did cave into the ' I know I need to eat but I don't know what" which is usually ramen and milk. This day was no exception. I did ride my bike into work as the monsoons seem to have chilled out. Might still get a brief shower today but that should be okay.
Had 2 mt dews.
lunch was a salad with blue cheese, craisins, red onion, lettuce and poppyseed dressing. And a handful of chili cheese fritoes
Having water right now
Dinner tonight is penne ala vodka, cottage cheese and green beans.
Might have 1/2 of a black cow after the meeting.

Aug 1&2

had a good weekend and really manage to keep things in check even with extra stress of Timony's bike wash. Saturday was puttering around getting everything we needed for sunday. Sunday was the wash and we were up and going from about 7:30 to 5:00. When I got home, I then had to do my regular sunday stuff, laundry and grocery shopping. I keptthe soda consumption down to 2 a day and did get some good food.
