jan 30

I did crawl out of my drug haze this morning to weave and drink water
breakfast was a couple spoonfuls of the cinnamon ice cream. I was told to stay away from warm liquids for a bit so no tea this morning.
It is 9:00 and I have a mt dew next to my big ol glass of water.
11:00 tomato and spinach calzone
1:00 mt dew and more water
5:00 green salad with tomatoes, cucumber, croutons and bleu cheese dressing. I really wanted chips and salsa instead but I was able to maintain my discipline and resist the crispity-crunchity lure of nacho cheese doritoes.

Was an odd day up at regular time and drank water
breakfast was ramen and milk
then had much water as I had a dental appointment at noon to have a tooth pulled.
spent the rest of the afternoon in a vicodine haze but manage to weave myself a scarf out of my own hand spun wool. I plan on finishing the edge and having it washed and blocked by the weekend.
had water during the day.
For dinner I made Margarita Pizza which is pizza with fresh tomatoes, fresh basil and mozzarella cheese. I also add olive oil, garlic and salt on the crust. mmmmmmmm
Timony brought me home some cinnamon ice cream but I only had a little bit.

My thighs are not amused by the three minute intervals. But I feel just a bit better than sitting at my desk all day.

dinner was mashed potatoes, corn wild rice and salad. I made a meatloaf for my man. He was very happy about it

rolled out of bed- that was very hard this morning as it was chilly out and bed was snuggly warm.

As a thing for myself I have started adding 3 minutes of those weird grapevine steps with leg lifts in my day at 7-9-11-1-3-5-7 or up and down the stairs when I am at home. I just wanted to shake up my day and ass.
1:00 can of mt dew
5:30 two slices of pizza, glass of milk and 4 lemon cookies.

Jan 26

Did well over the weekend. Had an event and still kept to only 2 cans of soda- rest was water.
Made a couple new recipes- one was... interesting. Bland but decent. The other was HOT HOT HOT. Chipolte chili pasta. WOW! I am not sure if I will ever make is at such again. To be sure it was tasty but o so hot.
So far today is running the usual way
5 32 oz water
7 breakfast and water- My friend Holly has been working with her breakfast and suggested it for me. Brown rice (already I like it), shredded cheese, tomato and cucumber wrapped in red leaf lettuce. Now could I eat this all the time? Maybe but at least I could swap it out for the bagel and cream cheese some mornings. I will probably have to fight Timony for the brow rice- she is mighty fond of it too.

same record playing for this morning- I have some very comfortable habits
5am 32 oz water
7:15 bagel with cream cheese, tomato slices and a pickle
9:00 cup of long island cola tea- non caffeinated and very yummy
11:15 lunch will be leftover soup from last night- tortellini soup with spinach. will probably break down and have a dew with it.
I realized that I missed blogging yesterday- no real reason just missed it. Pretty much ate my regular stuff. I did have to go shopping for some jeans last night- always fun. Actually it wasn't bad. JCPenney no long carries the brand I really like but I was able to find a couple pairs that look nice and fit nice. It was kind of exciting in the sense that I ended up buying a size smaller than I expected to. SO either this being accountable for my food is working OR the manufacturers are ratbastards and changed the sizing again. It was relieving to find them with the waist where I like it and not hanging on my hips. Now while I was shopping for pants I did look at the selection for other stuff and was very appalled at what they think women who are large want to wear. You normally see the polyester track suits and a selection of mu-mus but this was just ugly colors and styles that would look hideous on a stick. Can you tell that I really don't care for shopping? I would have bought the pants on line but jeans need to be tried on as they all have weird cuts and styles. There was one pair that encased my thighs like sausages and then flaired out at the knee- those did not come home with me. Talk about unflattering...

32oz of water- actually only drank about 20 oz as I noticed that my plant in the room needed some too.

11:15 leftover pasta with Quorn and tomato sauce and some green beans

dinner was on the fly which usually means not good- I had an orange and two strings cheeses

When I got home at 9:30 I was soooo very hungry and made the choice to have two pieces of toast with butter.

JAN 20

Up early and had water but I also brought a can of mt. dew to the loom this morning. I had a couple sips and realized it was not what i wanted to drink- WOOHOO!

9:00 cup of joy tea- I have noticed that I have begun to get an eye twitch again- happens when I drink tea sometimes-phooey

This morning had left over risotto and milk for breakfast- I was not up at 5:00 as my hunny set the alarm, turned it off and fell back to sleep with me. It was a hard night. Dogs got me up to go out around midnight. Nephew had been drinking and wanted to talk, daughter came home in the middle of all this and then we all went to bed. However our noise woke up Jim who got out of bed until around 4:00 then the whole alarm thing happened.
No lunch today as I forgot to bring one.
So far two cans of mt dew
glass of water to come soon.
Dinner tonight is spaghetti, cottage cheese, salad, green beans and garlic bread.

Highly productive day
had a scrambled egg with toast for breakfast and cup of tea
lunch was an apple and string cheese and water
there was a can of dew in the afternoon
dinner was risotto and a crispy green salad and glass of milk
slept much better.

jan 17

No real food to speak of today until late in the day- I worked on various projects- got some stained glass done, some weaving done and cut off the loom, house tidying and drank WAY too much soda as when night came I could not fall asleep easily.
the food later was ramen and milk. There was also water drunk through out the day

morning routine the same for the most part. Up early, drank water, wove.
Did not have breakfast this morning as I ended up talking with my hunny.
Really wishing I had had breakfast...

decided tonight was junk food night bought jalapeno poppers, cheese sticks and cheese pizza snack thingys. My hunny and nephew and I munched on these things with delight. Ate more than I should but not as much as I wanted. I do feel better for having a mini break.

32 oz of water to wake me up. I do like that in the ams I am no longer feeling the need for caffeine that hits me in the afternoon. I wake up clear headed and ready to work. Of course I can also crawl right back into to bed and go back to sleep. Must have projects that keep me form that behavior. It will be interesting when the weather gets warm enough to see how weaving and riding my bike mesh together.
7:00 bagel with cream cheese, tomato slices and pickle. Finished my water
9:00 cup of tazo "joy" tea
11:30 spinach and tomato calzone and mt dew.
12:15 working on 32 oz of water=- one draw back to drinking more water is that I find myself needing to use the restroom more often. Logical consequences working before your very eyes.
6:15 bowl of lentil barley soup and a croissant.

also makes you need to use the restroom in the middle of the night

Woke easy enough at 5:00 big glass of water
7:15 ramen and milk for breakfast
8:30 cup of rose tea
10:00 can of the dew- I really wanted it and drank it so fast that I was disturbed by my reaction.
11:15 1 1/2 cups of mixed greens with 1/2 a tomato chopped, fakin bacon bit and blue cheese dressing. 2 handfuls of peanuts. 32 oz of water.
12:30 opened another can of mt dew but am trying hard to just sip it and savor it. I have a glass of water to alternate sips.
2:00 two pieces of dove chocolate-mmmmm
5:30 popcorn with nutritional yeast and butter. 32 oz water
6:40 4 oreos and a cup of milk

7:00 poached egg with cheese on english muffin and mt dew
7:15 glass of milk- My antibiotics went down funny and my stomach was in much pain so drank milk to try to help wash them all the way down. eventually it worked.
9:00 cup of mint tea
11:30 1/2 an order of tofu with garlic sauce and white rice. I save the other half for Timony. makes her very happy and me feel good as I don't eat the whole thing. Really big glass of H2O
12:15 can of mt dew- at least I have cut down on consumption of the dew. the need Hasn't really left me yet.
2:10 Arggghhh I really really want a can of soda... having a handful of peanuts- but they are not really helping, no. soda. Having visions of Snoopy rolling around on the floor when asking for dinner from Charlie Brown.
4:00 really really want soda for medicinal reasons as I am getting a screaming headache which thinks it might want to be a migraine
5:00 made zucchini ankara for dinner. Onions, garlic, yellow and green zucs sauteed with lemon juice, mint and marjoram served over couscous with feta cheese crumbled on top. Would have had more if my head didn't splode with each bite.
6:00 handful of asprin and big glass of water- alright maybe not a handful but definitely more than one.

stayed curled up in bed with my man longer than I meant to and so no weaving or 5:00 wake up.
7:00 cup of black tea and toast with peanut butter
10:00 mt dew
11:15 tomato bisque soup and part of a green salad- the restaurant and thoughtfully crumbled bacon on top of the salad in really small pieces-:p I ate lunch out with an old Beau. As the world is a small place, it turns out that Jim works with him and he asked Jim if he could take me out to lunch. Had a lot of fun talking about old times. (fortunately, the reason we stopped dating had been that he enlisted in the army and went to Germany, so no big drama)

Weekend was filled and I know I ate through out it. Mostly healthy and lots of water as these antibiotics are making me very thirsty and if I don't drink lots with them they leave a NASTY taste in my mouth- blech. Cut a bunch of glass on saturday for various projects- Colleen's B-day prezzie, my heraldic arms, a couple candle holders and a few other ideas. Cleaned the garage

5:00 wakey with a glass of water. Hope to have these towels done by the end of next week.

So I went to the dentist. I now have some antibiotics that according to the label will either make EVERYTHING all better or possibly kill me trying to make it all better. I know I should not read the labels but they wouldn't put the warnings on them if there was no reason.
Had a glass of water and a bagel with cream cheese for breakfast. 2 super zoomie pills
can of mt dew to wash down the pain killer. Wee!
Lunch was nothing much as I wasn't hungry. Big glass of water as I was very thirsty and more pills
Dinner was leftover scalloped potatoes and cauliflower more pills and more water

Again I wake at 5 with a glass of water
7:00 poached egg on english muffin with a slice of cheese and glass of milk
9:00 morning thunder tea- which would seem like a better choice than mt dew but I still probably use too much sugar in it. I reckon it is better than all the corn syrup and other things in the soda.
11:15 today's lunch is a crisp mixed green salad with blue cheese dressing, cottage cheese and a small bag of cheetoes.
5:00 leftover pasta and glass of milk.

Somewhere in here is a sneaky thing. Since I have been drinking more water, I have also been eating peppermint lifesavers. So the water tastes less like well, water. However, I don't count them and find that I do probably nibble on them more than I should.
Other news- my tooth that was having problems last summer abscessed last night. I heated a pin and drained it followed by gargling with salt water. Will probably get the darn thing pulled. sigh- this after much dental work on it- it had a crown put on a few years ago and then a month of root canaling last summer. it has been twinging off and on since the root canal. I was going to not go see the dentist but then I let my rational mind win over dentist fear. "I have an infection in my head!" I told myself and that just seems like the makings of a lifetime movie that promotes dental care. With the words "I HAVE AN INFECTION IN MY HEAD" on repeat, I made an appointment.

5am with water- here's another oddity- why is it when I start drinking more water that I get all bloaty and my lips chap and peel? Shouldn't I be all hydrated and not puffy? Of course I could just be menstrual...

11:30 tofu with garlic sauce and rice and 32 oz of water. Nice thing about spicy food- makes me drink more.
2:00 more water and a string cheese
5:30 small plate of what Timony calls "wet your pants pasta" and glass of milk
8:30 in bed sound asleep- less caffeine makes me move slower- I am not so keen on that- probably why I was addicted in the first place .

Up at 5 and glass of water by my side.
7:00 french onion soup for breakfast
8:00 cup of MORNING THUNDER TEA! Which I finished at 11:00
11:15 Black eyed peas and brown rice with corn for lunch.
2:00 2 string cheeses and a Pepsi- I should never ever drink Pepsi again. Not completely sure why but after drinking pepsi or dr. pepper that night my legs get all weird achy and crampy
5:30 glass of milk and ramen

My husband set the alarm for me so I could sleep in. 5:30 I wake up and can not close my eyes.
I thought to myself- self, since we are so wide awake why don't we get up. And I did, went to my loom and had- a Huge glass of water- that is right no mt dew! and it was okay. The earth did not swallow me up and the sun still rose in the east.
Lunch was two pieces of pizza and a glass of milk
I spent most of the day puttering- finishing a project, taking down our christmas decoration, cleaning, reading, more puttering, laundry and grocery shopping.
I did have a mt dew around 1:00 but was pretty darn impressed that I did not feel the need for it.
Dinner was french onion soup and another glass of milk.

spent the rest of the on mt dew no real food to speak of. Although I did have a 1/2 of an anise seed cookie and a nibble of fudge. I was at an event all day.
Got home around 5:00 and was sleeping by 7:00

I was planning to fast for the next three days.
Was being the word.
I had a request for pancakes from the kids this morning and as it is the last day that Avalon is here how could I resist?
So Up at 5 with mt dew by my side even though the holiday weaving rush is over- I really really like being up that early. Celestial Seasonings makes a dry mixer for water that I am going to trick myself into drinking rather than the soda. Only thing is that I can usually taste nutrasweet-blech. Yes plain old water would be best but I am doing baby steps.
4 pancakes with maple syrup.
2 cans of pepsi
3 handfuls of microwave popcorn
dinner will be black eyed peas with brown rice, salad and green beans. Most likely a glass of milk.
