up early although begrudgingly. Wanted more sleep but was productive instead.
I figured since today was the first friday in lent that I would do a limited fast
Had my regular cup of tea for breakfast and 1/2 cup vanilla yogurt as a start to finding my connection with the universe.
Shoveled the snow
came to work and discovered myself dropping things and being irritated, irrational and just feeling odd. the universe was speaking to me. It said Jeanne-Marie, you are hypoglycemic and you know this so what are you thinking by fasting? Especially since you have some great degree of physical labor happening? You silly goose go get some food, now!
So I did. But the universe failed to be thrilled with my choice of deep fried cheese sticks and marinara sauce. Regardless, I was happy with it.
Had mt dew with my sticks of deep fried fat and I feel like a creature in the flow of the cosmic stream once more.

up early with water
breakfast was k-a tea and two swiss cheese sandwiches. I guess I got hungry.
Lunch was my favorite salad and a handful of smoked almonds
I had a piece of carrot cake and water in the afternoon. I did not eat the frosting. Which is not unusual for me.
Dinner was two helpings of zucchini ankara and couscous and water
Had a cup of peach herbal tea and two peanut butter girl scout cookies

Have found the one soda a day very easy to achieve. sneaking in water on myself when I am not looking. What I have been doing is drinking a 12 oz glass of warm water when I wake, at lunch and then before bed.
had a few snack foods this weekend but i worked hard to keep the intake down to a few so I was enjoying what I was eating, not scarfing what ever was in front of me.

Also had four chocolate ginger snap cookies.
Dinner tonight is a cream of brussels spouts soup and home made english muffin bread. The soup is yummy. I have not made the bread before but, hey it is bread.
It is snowing that movie kind of snow and warm bread will make the house just smell wonderful.

Good on food crap on soda.
Saturday start off very well. Made eggs with cheese for breakfast. Had my tea and the had mt dew around 1. Had a party to go to so made chocolate cake and english muffin pesto pizzas. But at party had a 7-up and too much goat brie on roasted garlic bread.
Sunday could not pull my head out of the clouds. Had two mtdew and my kick ass tea. Still could have napped so realized that maybe I needed a quiet day. Spent most of it watch Babylon 5 and spinning. I did make a ultra veggie type dinner. baked yams with butter, black eyed peas and swiss chard, brown rice and chocolate ginger snaps. It was very tasty and savory and all around yum.

no lunch so had crap. bag of Doritoes and a salted nut bar and mt dew
broke down and had a root beer this afternoon as well.
But the good thing about the salted nut roll is that I drank 32 oz of water with it!
Dinner tonight is mock chicken soup and bread

The weather is almost nice enough to start riding my bicycle into work.
Breakfast was 2 back bean and rice quesadillas and a cup of the wonderful tea.
Lunch was going to be my favorite salad and water. But salad had been sitting for two days and the lettuce was yucky and slimy. I had a hand full of smoked almond, some Parmesan goldfish and water instead.
