had an event on saturday so brought grapes, bread and cheese and then was also fed noodles with peanut sauce and grated carrots & cucumbers. Yum. I also had a mt dew in the am tons of water through out the day and a coke in the afternoon.
Sunday was a fun cooking day. I had two pieces of toast with peanut butter for brekkies. then for lunch I made grilled cheese and tomato soup. Then I cookies chocolate chip cookies, breakfast burritoes and dinner was a lovely french dish with a complex sauce that rocks my world. I made the mistake of putting it over egg noodles. this is a mistake because the lovely lovely sauce gets all gummed up by the pasta. Next time I will make either rice or polenta to use as the starch because they will soak up the sauce but not get gummy. I love having a day to just cook. I also made crescent rolls and ended up eating more of those than I should, with thick slices of havarti cheese.
